About Me

About Southern Exposure

My Name is
Riley Bellamy

Born and raised in a one-stoplight town nestled deep in Southwest Virginia, I come from a place where front porches are storytelling stages, and every sunset feels personal.

Life in the South taught me to savor the little moments — the shared laughter, the tearful goodbyes, the quiet glances that speak volumes. I didn’t just grow up in a small town — I grew up with it.

I followed that passion for storytelling all the way to East Tennessee State University, where I earned my bachelor's degree in Digital Media with a concentration in Visual Effects and Video Editing. There, I honed my craft - blending creativity with technical skill and learning how to turn fleeting moments into lasting visuals.

Then came the leap: Las Vegas. A neon-soaked contrast to my Appalachian roots. The city where dreams are loud, fast, and dazzling. But I didn’t come to gamble — I came to capture. To take the warmth of Southern hospitality and merge it with the high-energy pulse of Vegas. That’s how Southern Exposure came to life.

Whether I’m shooting weddings on the Strip, family portraits against Red Rock Canyon, or candid moments on Fremont Street, my goal is the same: to create imagery that feels real, vivid, and a little bit charmed. I’m a gamer nerd at heart, a storyteller by nature, and a jack-of-all-trades behind the camera. You bring the moment — I’ll bring the exposure.

Let’s make magic, y’all.
